MultiAir Engines

Giulietta ushers in a new era for petrol engines: it is the first car in the world to be powered by engines with the revolutionary MultiAir technology.
The 1.4 Turbo MultiAir 170 bhp was awarded the prestigious “International Best New Engine of the Year” award at the 2010 edition of the International Engine of the Year competition. It is equipped with Start&Stop and Gear Shift Indicator as standard and guarantees:

• Lower fuel consumption
• Lower CO2 emissions
• Instant and dynamic fuel management

JTDM-2 engines

With the Alfa Giulietta there is a choice of three second generation MultiJet engines, all equipped with Start&Stop. The 1.6 JTDM-2 105 bhp, 2.0 JTDM-2 140 bhp and 2.0 JTDM-2 170 bhp engines that guarantee a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 while also keeping polluting emissions, and therefore tax, low.
