The launch of Luna Rossa in ValenciaThe archives of the Alfa Romeo Documentation Centre contain written records and images about the history of the Brand. The material is catalogued according to advanced criteria, using microfilms and electronic processors, and is organised in 5 macro-areas:

- Technical-servicing publications
- Library
- Film collection
The photographic section is comprised of some 40,000 negatives and original plates, some of them dating from 1910. It provides an exhaustive overview of Alfa Romeo activities since its foundation. The prints are collected in albums and broken down by subject: production cars, race cars, sporting activities …
The document section contains an appreciable collection of memos, minutes, reports, correspondence, registration books, financial statements, press folders, advertising materials, Avio documents.

In the library we find publications on the history of Alfa Romeo and its rivals, sporting activities, drivers. The collection of company magazines includes: Rassegna Alfa Corse, L'Alfista, Il Quadrifoglio, Alfa Romeo Notizie, as well as Auto Italiana, Illustrazione Italiana, Autosprint…
The film library contains documentary films produced by Alfa Romeo over the last 20 years, mostly about sporting events, besides old films of outstanding historic significance.
The Documentation Centre receives and replies to thousands of requests from owners of vintage Alfa models seeking information about the cars. It provides on requests copies of technical publications (Use and Maintenance booklets, Repair Manuals, Part catalogues), and valuable tips on the appropriate restoration procedures.
The Documentation Centre is a resource for journalists, writers, historians, collectors, scholars, senior students.
