Travel and Communicate in safety

Blue&Me™ allows you to use your Bluetooth® mobile phone in the car and listen to music in digital format. Blue&Me™ is currently compatible with most Bluetooth® mobile phones on the market, and can be updated with new standards and future phones. The system allows you to browse the phonebook on your mobile even if it is in your bag or jacket pocket, make and receive calls, choose your favourite music in digital format, and much more.

What it’s for

Blue&Me™ is fully integrated with the car: its functions are displayed on the on-board instrument panel and are operated using voice and steering wheel controls. The Blue&Me™ system recognises your mobile phone as soon as you get into the car, all you have to do is pair it with the system the very first time you use it.
The system can store up to 5 mobile phones, but the phonebooks are only accessible in the presence of the phones in question.
Blue&Me™ also has a USB port in the glove compartment.

How it works

Voice recognition has come a long way, and can now recognise commands regardless of the tone of voice or differences in pronunciation.
The phonebook is transferred into the system and is shown on the multi-function display on the instrument panel. Using the hands-free function, you can make a call simply by saying the name stored in the phonebook, or by dictating a number digit by digit.

Hands-free

The Blue&Me™ multimedia player lets you listen to your favourite music stored on your mobile phone, on one of the new smart phones or MP3-players, or on a USB pen-drive. The tracks are reproduced using the car’s sound system.
To use the player, simply connect your device to the USB port. When the ignition key is inserted, Blue&Me™ creates an index for the multimedia library, which appears on the multifunction display. You can browse through the library and the various categories using either voice commands or the steering wheel controls.

Multimedia player

Blue&Me has now become Blue&Me Nav: a even simpler and more comprehensive world of info-telematics, offering comfort, safety and service.
Blue&Me Nav will be an indispensable travelling companion every day, because it allows you to use your Bluetooth™ mobile phone, listen to incoming SMS messages and to your favourite music stored on a USB pen-drive or media player, simply by using voice commands or the quick selection keys on the steering wheel. And it now comes with a navigation system and the SOS, Info and InSure services.

Blue&Me NAV

Blue&Me Nav is a navigator that can take you anywhere. All you have to do is press the ‘NAV’ button on the ceiling, select your destination using the steering wheel controls or voice commands, and then follow the voice instructions and pictograms appearing on the instrument panel display.
It is a simple, intuitive system, which is also up-to-date: the maps are stored on a USB pen-drive or on your media player, so you no longer need to use the navigation CD.
In addition to the country already stored on the pen-drive when buying the system, other maps are also available from the sales network.

NAV

You can ask Blue&Me Nav anything.
Whether it’s the address of a theatre, flight timetables, a hotel booking, or the nearest shop. Simply push the button on the ceiling of your Alfa Romeo and an operator will be immediately available to help you.

Info

Peace of mind even in an emergency - talk to the SOS button on the ceiling. Pressing it puts you in contact with the call centre, to which Blue&Me Nav has already sent details of your position. The help you need can thus be sent wherever you need it, anywhere in Europe, quickly and easily.
In addition, in the event of airbag activation, the SOS call is sent out automatically.

SOS

With Blue&Me Nav, the satellite positioning system becomes a useful tool for tracing your car in the event of theft. Thanks to agreements with the major insurance companies, this entitles you to attractive reductions and customised policies based on how you use your car.

InSure

Blue&Me Nav will soon be able to offer even more: Drive Me service. You can receive the destination requested from the service operator directly on the navigator, allowing you to be guided all the way to your destination. Off-Map service. The navigator can also receive routes that are not already present on the stored maps. Car Manager service. The call centre will help you with the maintenance of your car by reminding you of scheduled services and routine interventions, and will help you to book the closest workshop and a courtesy car. These services are offered in collaboration with Telecom Italia.
